Halloween

I'm looking forward to this Halloween.
I want to get some lights and a little pumpkin decoration for the house - not much but something!
So... hopefully some scary movies are on queue. (Pronounced like the letter 'q', mom!)

Grey Gardens

As you see below in the video section, I have a current interest in "Grey Gardens", a 1975 documentary about the aunt and cousin of Jackie Kennedy Onasis.  I especially like "Little Edie", the daughter.  I have the 2009 movie of the same title that starred Drew Barrymore as Little Edie on DVD if you would like to watch it.  I suggest watching the original documentary first to get a feel for the characters and to fully appreciate what a good job Drew does playing her.  Even Robin was impressed!  If we decide to dress for Halloween, I plan on being Little Edie.

Why aren't you posting?

Why isn't anyone posting?  We have quite a bit coming up in the next three months, and this is a good way to keep informed.

The Halloween party is on, and if you want, we could include a board game tournament, although the REAL tournament will be on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving this year will be here, although we were invited to Brian and Julie's house for supper.  I've been thinking it over, and I think it would be impossible to change a holiday (my favorite, followed closely by Christmas) that we get together as a family.

Halloween

Halloween is being celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 30th.  We will have the usual donuts and cider, pumpkin seeds, and other goodies, plus beer for those of us over 21.

Let me know if you want to dress in costume.
